In loving memory of our beloved mother and grandmother, Adrianne Eva Willard, has gone to be with our Lord and her husband Leonard, February 5, 2021. Mom was born January 8, 1950 to her parents’ Robert and Sylvia Mackey in Turlock, CA. Mom was known as Adrianne Mackey prior to her marriage to Leonard 25 years ago. Mom was blessed with three children and six grandchildren. Mom is survived by daughter, Jennifer Peters, her daughter/son-in-law Shirley and Joseph Valdivia, her sister Roberta Robin, and her brother Mark Mackey; she is also survived by six grandchildren: Aaron Valdivia, Evan Valdivia, Bryce Valdivia, Fallon Peters, Carson Peters, and Mariah Pletcher.
Mom and Leonard lived many years in Bakersfield, CA before moving to Crescent City, CA around 2015. Mom retired as a hospice nurse in Bakersfield, CA, a job she took a lot of pride in doing. Anywhere I went with my mother, you could here her say, “…you know, I’m a retired nurse.” Even as a RN, her and Leonard found plenty of time to spend camping with their grandkids. My mom was a fighter, even after surviving two open heart surgeries, a complete spinal adjustment surgery (including pins up and down her back), Mom still managed to find time to make her awesome fudge and rocky road at Christmas. Even though she will be truly missed, I am in comfort knowing she is united with her husband who passed just nine months ago and she is no longer in paid. Love you Mom.
