Catherine (Cathy) Jolene (Riedel) Elliott

Catherine (Cathy) Jolene Elliott passed away at the family home in Myrtle Creek, Oregon on November 21, 2020.  A private memorial will be held in the family’s home.  There will be no visitation.

Cathy was born in Great Bend, Kansas on February 1, 1950 to Celestine and Mae Riedel.  She married Gene Elliott on February 25, 1969.

She worked for many years as an elderly caregiver.  She enjoyed spending time with family, watching hummingbirds, crocheting, cooking, fishing and camping at the Oregon coast.

She is survived by her husband Gene Elliott, sons, Heath Elliott of Keizer, OR and Joseph Elliott with daughter-in-law (Lisa) of Clarksville, TN, and granddaughter Cassandra Elliott of Clarksville, TN.  Her mother Mae Riedel of Bellevue, WA and sister Penny Vsetecka of Bellevue, WA and 3 nieces also survive.

The family would like to thank everyone that has helped in the great care that Cathy has received.  Also thank you to everyone for the visits and prayers.
