Dana M Finch

Dana M. Finch, MSN, ANP-BC is originally from Princeton, Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Bethel College and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN and Gundersen Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

She has been in the health-care field for 36 years starting with a certified nursing assistant in 1986.   She specifically spent 24 years as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology, rotating inpatient and outpatient practice.  Her career has led her to some adventurous places including Wisconsin, Alaska and the Oregon Coast. She joined Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Specialists in 2018.

Dana has special interest in heart failure and management but truly enjoyed focusing on patient education. Outside of work she enjoys painting, furniture restoration/repurposing and spending time with her standard poodles: Chloe, Ragna, Gator, Cricket and Birdie.  

Dana is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rod Finch.  Dana was Rod’s love of his life.  Their children:  Emily (Mike) Husker, Jacob (Megan) Finch and grand-daughter Sophia, Josianna (Casey) Martin, grand-daughter baby Aaleiyah.  And her favorite cousin, Dawn Brommer.  And generations of extended family.

Celebration of Life Services for Dana Finch will be held at Winston Community Center, 440 SE Grape St. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 4-6.  Please park along Thompson St. for overflow parking.  Don’t park on Grape St.
