On November 26, 2023, Fred, 83 passed due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease.  Lisa his beloved wife, his 4 daughters and granddaughter Amanda by his side.

Fred was born in South San Francisco on March 26, 1940, to Frank & Rose Pariani. He graduated from South San Francisco High School in 1958, he was involved in wrestling and track. He served in the Marine reserves from 1958 to 1965.

He became a certified mechanic and started his career working in the automobile industry.

Fred worked with his father Frank Pariani at Frank Pariani Buick and Chevrolet General Automotive Maintenance. He expanded his craft at several automotive locations including Dick Bullis Chevrolet in Burlingame, Ca.

He moved to his family to Medford, Oregon in 1970 and settled in Phoenix, OR.  Fred worked at several Chevrolet dealerships as a service writer and mechanic.

He started his career with Pacific Power from 1976-2005, he was a member of Local IBEW 659 and worked in Medford, Klamath Falls and finished at Toketee Falls. He lived in Glide before retirement and then lived in Roseburg at the time of his passing.

He married Lisa on June 21, 1982, and they started their life together. Fred was involved with his family, motor cross bike riding and racing, participated in biathlons, Softball, Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, OHA, Teaching Hunter Safety, scuba diving and most anything outdoors.

His parents and sister’s Marie Dobson & Francis Maltoni preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his Wife, Lisa, brother Eddie Pariani & Sister Lois Pariani and brother Frankie Pariani. He is also survived by his daughters from his first wife Janet L. Pariani, who survives, Virginia Kline of Brookings, OR, Kati Pariani (Doug Shaffer) of Beaverton, OR, Annette Towery (Dave) of Culver, OR & Elizabeth McDonough (Dale Hall) of Brookings, OR.  Also, his 12 Grandchildren Amanda Claflin, Lindsay Casad (Andy), Kelly Kline (Brittney), Corey Kline, Casey Kline, Nikki Kline, Emily Pariani, Taelor Pariani, Daniel Keever, Christina Keever, and Robbie McDonough and 15 Great Grandchildren.

A family burial will take place at the VA Cemetery in Roseburg, OR.

A Celebration of life will be at The American Legion Hall at 406 SE Oak Ave., Roseburg, Oregon from 11:30 to 1:30 on December 9, 2023.
