Joseph Lee Peck

Joseph Lee Peck died suddenly in his home on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the age of 71. Joe was born in Columbus, Ohio, to father Robert Peck and mother Helen Osborne, who have both preceded him in death. After his father received an honorary discharge from the Army’s 171st tank division, the family moved to Roseburg, Oregon.

Joe grew up here and made himself a symbol of stability for his family and a great community member. He worked in security at various locations and always managed to find positives in his day and people. Joe really enjoyed his life when he was helping other people. He really would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.

Joe is survived by his wife Tami, three sisters, three brothers, and too numerous relatives to mention. He attended the Garden Valley Church of Christ and really believed that he would meet his mother and father in heaven.

The service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Garden Valley Church of Christ, Roseburg, OR.
