Mark Anderson Obituary

Mark R Anderson passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2024 with his wife of 56 years, Patricia by his side. Mark was born in Seattle on May 27, 1946, to Jesse and Loa Anderson. His wife and cousins survive him. Mark served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in Thailand. He was proud to serve his country and achieved the rank of Spec 5 in less than two years. Mark and Pat moved to Roseburg from San Diego in 1978. Mark was active in the Roseburg Morning Rotary for 25 years. He served as President of the club from 1989 – 1990 and was Chair of he Roseburg Morning Community Service Committee from 2011 – 2012. Mark owned Roseburg Refrigeration Inc. for 30 years until his retirement in 2014. Military Honors will be offered at Roseburg National Cemetery on Friday January 26, 2024, at 3 pm. Friends are invited to share memories and stories at the service. Arrangements in the care of Umpqua Valley Funeral Directors, Roseburg 541-537-9300.
