Andrews, Michael Lee (Mike), of Sutherlin, Oregon, suddenly passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the age of 72 years, and went to join his Creator in the hereafter.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Deborah Andrews, sons Robert, Edward and Jeffrey, daughter Krystal, brother David, his sister Peggy, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Michael is predeceased by both parents, Paul and Bernetta Andrews, along with his brother Danny and sister Paulette.
Michael was born on November 17, 1949 to Paul and Bernetta Andrews in Medford, Oregon. He graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1967, then enrolled at OIT in Klamath Falls the next year.
Mike returned to Medford in 1970-1971 to complete his training as a gunsmith. Over the years, he worked in sales as a vendor of men's clothing, Fuller brush products, and industrial hardware. He also owned and operated his own gunsmithing shop for a short while.
In 1968, Michael met Deborah (Debi) Clark while driving one night down Riverside Ave in Medford. The two of them fell in love, married, and went on to have 4 beautiful children.
Michael was a lover of nature and avid outdoorsman. He raised horses in Medford, Oregon, for more than 10 years and become a well-recognized figure in the community.
A celebration of Michael's life is being held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roseburg, Oregon, on Saturday, December 11th at 11:30am.
